Our world is on a downhill spiral to the bleak unknown, undoubtedly, the effect of man itself. Countless tragedies have occurred in every country, critically affecting the way we live our lives today. In Africa, the ethnic battle of the Hutu and Tutsi decimated over one million people. The Chinese are still dealing with the struggle of a gender imbalanced society which came from inflicting deaths on unwanted infant girls. Now, in America, the difficulty of getting an education gets increasingly arduous every year. In all these scenarios there is a common denominator; man, slowly but surely, destroying man. Generally speaking, Africa’s Hutu-Tutsi genocide is one of the largest of its kind, murdering over one million people in a time span of a few years. This was no natural disaster or terrible accident that caused these deaths, but a direct effect of mans capitalistic mindset that makes any person with different views a target for destruction. Religion has been practiced for thousands of centuries; it is the basis of almost all ethnic groups. For something that’s meant to represent peace, man has corrupted it to be a twisted and sick game of who can get who first. In the same way man has manipulated religion, man has changed the way we look at birth. In China, what should be the joyous arrival of a baby girl is now viewed as a bad thing. They turned away baby girls for so long, they have dug themselves into a deep hole of gender imbalance. Today, in China they lack enough girls to reproduce, something that could have been avoided if they hadn’t shunned them away in the first place. Irrevocably, something they pushed for so long ended up placing them in a worse place than where they started out. What is it about mans need for control that ends up back firing on them constantly? Furthermore, here in America, getting a college education has become not an option, but a necessity to survive the work force. If you want.

He establishes himself at the top of the food chain, he goes through painstaking experiments to lit up the darkness that comes at night and through decades of scientific progression he is able to pit himself against the unpredictable weather changes. Thus he is able to place himself parallel to cosmic significance. He then proceeds to defeat the onslaught of diseases and the invisible enemies known to us as bacteria and viruses and conquers geographical hurdles. Man sustains hisown survival in ways no other life forms can. The sophisticated ways in which Man maintains his existence remain uncontested by any other life forms. Clearly, humans set themselves apart from the other species because the human body is gifted with impeccable intellectual abilities. At a glance at all the achievements man had single handedly accomplished over the time, one must think what mortal hand or eye could challenge man for his position. But one may want to think again. No animals would inflict pain on another of their own kind, or even other kinds, for reasons other than self-defence and food. Yet the intelligent Man would. History of mankind illustrates man's propensity to achieve his personal greed and glory at the expanse of another of kind. This aspect.

By their presence on different lands, the invaded population had to learn to defend themselves through combining their efforts and putting aside their foolish differences. The Roman Empire was the post-Republican period of the ancient Roman civilization, characterized by an autocratic form of government and large territorial holdings.
